Dale Frances Bozzio is an American pop and rock singer. She is best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of the 80's New Wave band, Missing Person, and for her work with Frank Zappa. Along with Zappa, she plays a key role in two of her major productions, Joe's Garage and Thing-Fish's Garage. During her solo career, Bozzio has released four albums and one EP. Bozzio co-founded The Lost Man in 1980 with former Zappa musicians Warren Cuccurullo and Terry Bozzio. In addition to her role as the group's lead singer, she also contributes lyrics. Miss released an EP and six albums, including Spring Session M, which set a gold record. After the disbanded person disbanded in 1986, Bozzio signed with Prince's Paisley Park, who released his first solo album, Riot in English. Bozzio then reformed The Lost People and continued to perform the band's repertoire in venues across the United States.
