Carlos Dunga, or simply Dunga, is a former Brazilian footballer. He is the head coach of Brazil. He also captained the Brazilian national team that won the 1994 FIFA World Cup.

Carlos is the son of Maria (Bledorn) and Edelceu Verri, a footballer. He has a sister, Rejane.

His father is of Italian descent (from Piedmont). His mother is of German descent.

Carlos’ paternal grandfather was Caetano Verri, a footballer.
